Pomerania 1939 — Where the War Began
A three-day historical route through Pomerania that follows the opening hours and first consequences of the German invasion of Poland. It begins at the Vistula crossings in Tczew, moves through Westerplatte and the Polish Post Office in Gdańsk, reaches the defended Hel Peninsula, and ends at Stutthof and the Piaśnica memorial. This is deliberately not framed as light sightseeing: the final day moves from military history into sites of mass persecution and murder.
